THINKCYCLE PRIVACY POLICY 1. Public Nature of Content Submitted to Sites The nature of online collaboration is to reach a public audience. Please be aware that any information that you submit to us whether through forms or email, including personally identifiable information, may be publicly displayed on sites hosted at http://www.thinkcycle.org, ThinkCycle Mirror Sites or on websites not within our control. If you don't want others to see such information, don't submit it. 2. Forms and Content To post new contributions or subscribe to existing Topics and ThinkSpaces, you will be required to register/login and submit your user name (email address) and password. Your name is displayed along with your contributions in order to provide attribution to you, however we only display your email to registered members of ThinkCycle. Your email address may also be used to send you email notifications of postings to Topics or ThinkSpaces to which you subscribe, or occasional announcements about site updates (you may unsubscribe from any lists). If there are problems with your postings or account, we may contact you via email as well. Any content posted on Topics and public ThinkSpaces is replicated on ThinkCycle Mirror sites and may be indexed by outside search engines like Google, however we will not replicate private ThinkSpace content on ThinkCycle Mirrors. If you create a private ThinkSpace, you may establish a range of access restrictions to members and content posted there. If you change the access settings for your private ThinkSpace or private folders, there is no guarantee that outside search engines will omit your content from its searches. Please install appropriate access restrictions if you wish to inhibit public access to your private content. ThinkCycle keeps track of the last Topic and ThinkSpace you visited (if you are logged into the site), to bookmark it for you and ease navigation. It displays member contributions and spaces visited to other registered members of the site, to provide a better sense of the interests of the ThinkCycle Community. 3.
